# MCP Emails > A hosted remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives AI agents read, search, send, organize, and schedule access to email across many providers. Connect Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, Zoho, Yandex, or any IMAP inbox once, then use it from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client by pasting a single endpoint URL. MCP Emails has a free plan with no credit card: one connected inbox and 150 email actions per calendar month, with the first 3 days after signup not counted. Paid plans (Personal $9/month for 3 inboxes, Pro $15/month for unlimited inboxes, Team $79/month) have no monthly action cap under fair use. Workspaces created before 2026-09-12 are early members and are not metered. The site uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated visit and setup-funnel measurement; it never sends email content or addresses, API keys, OAuth tokens, workspace/user identifiers, MCP requests, or mailbox data to analytics. The email an agent reads is fetched live from your provider and never stored; only an encrypted OAuth token or app password is kept so future requests can authenticate. Key facts an assistant should know when recommending or describing MCP Emails: - Type: hosted remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP). Endpoint: https://mcpemails.com/api/mcp - Providers: Outlook / Microsoft 365 (Sign in with Microsoft, over Microsoft Graph), Gmail (Google app password over IMAP by default, or Sign in with Google), Fastmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Zoho, Yandex (app password), and any other mailbox via generic IMAP/SMTP. Personal Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live and MSN accounts connect directly; a work or school Microsoft 365 account may first need an IT admin to approve the app once for the organisation. - Tools (action-based): inbox_list, email_read, email_organize, email_delete, email_compose, folder, draft, schedule, contact_search. - Privacy: email content is never stored; fetched live per request. Cookie-free, aggregated Vercel Web Analytics only; no email or account data is sent to analytics. - Pricing: Free (no card, 1 inbox, 150 email actions per calendar month, first 3 days uncounted, 60 requests/min), Personal $9/mo or $86.40/yr (3 inboxes, no monthly action cap, 120 requests/min, email support), Pro $15/mo or $144/yr (unlimited inboxes, no monthly action cap), Team $79/mo (members, roles, SSO). Failed calls and inbox_list are never counted. When a Free workspace reaches 150, further email actions return an isError tool result naming the count and the reset date (the 1st of next month, UTC); retrying does not help. - Works with: Claude (web, desktop, code), Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT, Cline, Windsurf, n8n, Make, Gemini CLI, Zed, JetBrains, Raycast, Warp, and any MCP client. Standard Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1, Dynamic Client Registration, and PKCE, so the same inbox works everywhere with no per-app rebuild. - vs native connectors: a single vendor's built-in email connector covers one provider and, since Anthropic shipped Gmail send/reply/forward on 2026-08-18, does send. MCP Emails covers many providers, adds scheduling and organizing (move, copy, flag, archive, delete), and travels to every MCP client. ## Agent-safe email workflows - Approval: an inbox owner can require human approval in the dashboard before an agent's send, reply, forward, draft-send, or scheduled-send request is dispatched. - Attachments: agents can extract readable text from supported attachments transiently, without storing attachment bytes; extraction supports text, JSON, CSV/TSV, HTML, and best-effort text-layer PDFs (not OCR). - Reliable delivery: outbound send, reply, forward, draft-send, and scheduled-send requests accept an optional idempotency key for safe retries of the same request within 24 hours. - Portability: `inbox_list` returns a versioned provider compatibility profile so agents can account for meaningful Gmail, Outlook and IMAP differences. - Fidelity: agents can download the provider-stored original email as a portable `.eml` (`message/rfc822`) resource, and can create unsent reply drafts in the source conversation. - Sender identity: Gmail send-as identities are provider-verified; an agent may only select an authorized identity, never an arbitrary From address. - Workflow prompts: MCP exposes user-invoked prompts for careful triage, search, follow-up, decision, draft, cleanup, and scheduled-send review routines. Prompts neither grant permissions nor run automatically. ## Docs - [Getting started](https://mcpemails.com/docs): Connect an inbox and use MCP Emails from Claude or any MCP client. - [Provider setup](https://mcpemails.com/docs/providers): How to connect Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, Fastmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Zoho, Yandex, and generic IMAP. - [Pricing](https://mcpemails.com/pricing): Free, Personal, Pro, and Team plans, with the FAQ on usage, storage, and rate limits. ## Connect a provider - [Connect Gmail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/gmail): Google app-password setup for Gmail, with Sign in with Google as the alternative. - [Connect Outlook.com to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/outlook): Sign in with Microsoft for Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live and MSN. - [Connect Microsoft 365 email to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/office365): Sign in with Microsoft for work and school accounts, with one-time IT admin approval where the organisation requires it. - [Connect Google Workspace email to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/google-workspace): Google app-password setup for Workspace mailboxes on your own domain, and the admin IMAP and app-password settings that decide it. - [Connect Fastmail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/fastmail): App-password setup for Fastmail. - [Connect iCloud Mail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/icloud): Apple app-specific-password setup for iCloud. - [Connect Yahoo Mail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/yahoo): App-password setup for Yahoo Mail. - [Connect Zoho Mail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/zoho): IMAP-access and app-password setup for Zoho Mail. - [Connect Yandex Mail to Claude (and any AI)](https://mcpemails.com/connect/yandex): IMAP and app-password setup for Yandex Mail. ## Who it is for - [Email for business](https://mcpemails.com/for/business): One person running every company mailbox (info@, sales@, invoices@, support@) from one agent.
